Here’s a great nature project that even the littlest crafters can participate in! Emily enjoyed finding different patches of clover, picking them and sticking the leaves and stems to the lint brush. She could easily carry the lint brush with her, and spent a lot of time finding small leaves, blades of grass, and tiny seed pods to include in her collage.
Once the lint brush is full, peel off the paper and glue non-sticky side to a piece of canvas board. Keep repeating the process until the entire canvas board is full of clover.
It should look something like this. Cover the canvas board with clear contact paper, and you are done!

I have 2 German Shepherds and buy lint brushes by the gross! I think I can sacrifice one for the nature cause! GREAT idea!!

I love this idea! We have one of those sticky lint rollers, I bet Emma would love this activity. And I think your idea of then turning their collage into a placemat is brilliant!

@ Mama King — I thought of making a little bracelet for Emily out of masking tape, with the sticky side facing outwards. But… I couldn't find the masking tape, and instead found the lint roller, which worked even better!! I love finding new uses for things like that!

Every now and again I am just shocked by your brillance! Those are adorable! My kids and I used to use tape around their wrists, but this is so much easier!

I love the craft! I have done a similar craft project with elementary students using masking tape as a "bracelet." You put the tape around the wrist sticky side out and attach nature-findings such that you found onto it. It's quite fashionable when finished…
