Emily loves to play hair stylist. Break out the rollers, hair brushes, hair clips, combs, and ribbon. Oh, and magazines (the trashier, the better). Sometimes I wear a ridiculously long blond wig from Halloween for this. NO SCISSORS!!!
By the way, does anyone know where I could find one of those vintage 1950′s hairdryers (you know, the kind that look like you have a beehive on your head?) It doesn’t need to be working….

I used to love to do that when I was little. Our babysitter actually let my sisters and I experiment with all sorts of crazy do's! Your a good mama!

My daughter loves for me to do her hair, but I wouldn't let her touch mine (mostly because I have curls and it would HURT!). I've only see those hair dryers at antique stores. Have you tried thrift stores, Craig's list or ebay?

My grandma still uses her dryer! I thought it was the weirdest thing when I was little. Sorry, that is no help to you!

I'm sure Emily loves this activity! It was actually my dad who let us play with his hair growing up – he didn't have much of it (he was bald by 30), but we still managed to put clips in it.
