Here’s a useful gift that even the smallest crafters can make — Post-it® Bookmarks! I am so guilty of folding multiple corners on just about every book I read and writing in the margins, so I really needed one of these. When Emily saw what I was up to, she wanted to help.
To make your own Post-it bookmark, you will need a piece of craft foam (2″ x 7″), some yarn, and some Post-it Notes. One package of Post-it Notes will make several bookmarks.
First, separate a few sheets from the note pad (about 7-10 sheets or so).
Use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the Post-its into shapes that fit onto your bookmark.
Arrange the mini-pads on the bookmark and glue into place. Attach some yarn to the top of the bookmark for a decorative touch.
No more corner-folding or notes written in the margin of the book!

These would be great to amke at school. We are always encouraging the kids to write down thought and learning even in kindergarten.

What a clever idea for a bookmark. I also like to write little notes as I read, so this is soemthing I am going to make myself. It's one of those ideas that I think to myself, why didn't I ever think of that?!? Although, I gotta hand it to you, you are the queen of coming up with fabulous ideas when it comes to post-it notes (actually it's not just post-it notes, you are all around creative and inspirational lady)
A no sew pencil case – ingenious. I love it and it looks adorable. Emily's friends are very lucky to be receivng this little gem of a handcrafted project.
Your letter to Grandma kit also appealed to me. What a wonderful surprise for Grandma to receive letters from the special girls in her life.
It's been such a joy to finally be able to come back and visit you here. I have had so much fun and been inspired by your many creative ideas.

Oh I totally need to make those! I am a book addict.
3M is where probably 25% of my friend's parents worked growing up, so buying post-it notes is good for my local economy.

Brilliant idea!! I can use this in my classroom for my students to write down words they don't know and character notes! it's much cheaper than the copies I am always making of the template bookmarks for them, and they can make these on their own after recess while listening to Harry Potter on CD!!!!
