How precious! I just learned to knit a couple of weeks ago, thanks to youtube. Of coarse I've only made a scarf so far but would like to move onto hats and someday sweaters! Love it!

Thanks Valerie! That makes sense now...
I've knit a bit so far, and I'm not quite sure whats happening because only sometimes can I tell the difference between stitches, so maybe I'm not REALLY purling haha, but we'll see what happens :)
Thanks for the tip!

@ Sew Impatient -- Oh, I think you could totally knit this hat! Knit 2 together means instead of inserting the needle through one stitch, you insert through 2 stitches at the same time. Knit as you usually do. Same for purl 2 together. :-)

Beautiful!! I wish I knew how to knit like that. I made my husband a scarf just before our son was born, but have never dared something round. Our little one can only wear cotton, because of eczema, and it's hard to find 100% cotton hats without fleece in them. Yours is adorable! We finally found one on sale tonight, but it has nothing on yours. :)
