Hi--- I am really enjoying your website...have picked
up a few really novel ideas from it. I have made these rice packs many times for gifts--but usually
bigger ones. I used washclothes (can get a pack of
24 for $5.) I embroidered a design on one side with
my machine, and then put in rice. When heated, they
even make really good bed-warmers in the Wintertime!
I was told not to put rice in the freezer; or if I
did--not to use it in the microwave after....someone
suggested the seed corn and said that could be used
in both. I never did try it..just made the ones to
go in the microwave. I am going to try a few smaller
ones like you suggested and see how they turn out!
Thanks for all your ideas--keep up the good work! Rita

Sigh - I don't have microwave! Do you think it's safe to put it in an electric oven? Thanks for this site, Cristina
