Emily loved ringing in the new year with this fun jingle bell noisemaker bracelet!
To make your own noisemaker bracelet, you will need: felt, thread, jingle bells, and a small button. Cut two long pieces of felt about 1 1/2 inches wide. Measure your child’s wrist and add about 2 inches for the length.
Whip stitch around the entire bracelet.
To one end, cut a small button hole and whip stitch around the opening.
To the other end, sew on a small button.
Sew on the jingle bells!
Make lots of NOISE!!

I love this noisemaker! Anna's preschool had a version of it with straws instead of felt, and Anna still can't get enough of it.

Happy New Year! What a fun fashion accessory, because there is no way ER would be content to only wear that once a year! We have a store bought version that has been worn out of the house many a time.

Make a couple of smaller versions that fit around the ankles and dance the day away. I can still recall my baby girl's (OMG she'll be 38 this year!!!) delight at she feet making music.
Aren't there some cultures that make lots of noise for the New Year to ford off evil?
