The girls wanted to have a picnic snack this afternoon, so we made an indoor snow picnic — it was so much fun! Clara, still in her pajamas, was delighted to see this set up in our living room.
Emily helped me hang some leftover wrapping paper up on the wall, and we used white blankets and pillows for “snow” on the floor. I covered some sofa cushions with a white blanket for a table. It was perfect!
Then, we snacked on white food (white bread, cheese, and some marshmallows – yum!).
Time for some hot cocoa!

LOL… I was thinking, "hmmm? I'm surprised they eat white bread." LOL… but now that I think about it, was it the whole grain white?
Neat idea. Now you have me thinking about what other white foods one could have at a snow picnic. White chocolate. Maybe bananas… well, maybe not. IDK.

Very cute – I bet the girls really did love it – it's been to long since we've had an indoor picnic – thanks for the reminder!

Oh that looks like so much fun! Being of Scandinavian decent many of my favourite comfort foods are all white, or at least beige.

Oh we have a snow themed post coming up, this would be so fun to add on ABC & 123. I will try super duper hard to remember to come by and pick this up, but it would be fabulous if you'd kindly do me a favor and email me a link to abc123learning@gmail.com. Cause between dealing with arranging travel plans to get to the visitation for Brad's Grandpa and traveling to Missouri this week, it might slip my mind.

I go away for a week and come back to see Clara walking, eating plates of food as big as mine … she's growing up so fast!
