Last week, the girls and I packed some sandwiches, kidnapped Mark from work, and went to a nearby playground during his lunch hour. We had so much fun!
Kidnapping working Daddies is always fun! We live by several Metro Parks and have a yearly pass. Brad also works by one so we like to pick him up and go eat outside and swing on the play ground once a week or so when the weather is nice. It's nice and shady at the one down the road from his office, so even during the hot summer days the shady and breeze from the river make it bearable.
What a fun idea! I think when we have an extra vehicle, my kids and I should do the same with my hubby-I'm sure it would be a nice break from work and nice for the kiddos and I to get out!
@ Ticia — That sounds great! You guys will have so much fun! Emily's pigtails are getting to be her signature look! I almost can't picture her without them. I've noticed that they start to droop when she gets tired. The more droopy the pigtails are, the more sleepy she starts to get!

I'm so thrilled I won the giveaway!
Thank-you!
This looks like a lovely lunch date! I think I will have to do this too! My girls would LOVE it (and hubby would too!)

Dear Valerie,
I'm hardly a kid anymore, so you could not have kidnapped me.
Who am I kidding? Yes, I am.
Love,
Mark

Oh, we are so going to kidnap Jeff soon.
Sigh, I wish my little girl would let me put her hair up in pigtails, those are always so cute.
