Tired of rainy days??
For a good time, cut out leaves from several sheets of colored tissue paper — you can cut through several sheets at one time, so it goes quickly.
Play in your indoor leaf pile!!!!!
These leaves are great fun to toss around!
It’s fun for grown-ups, and kids alike!
Rake them back up……
….and toss again and again! We covered a bean bag chair with the leaves and the girls took turns jumping into the “pile”.

And I thought I was the queen of messy play. I love the photo of you with the leaves in the air. Wonderful photos!
It’s surprisingly not that messy, since they all raked up into a brown paper bag…. but then the cat had fun playing in said paper bag, and they ended up all over the floor again! but you get the idea. 😉
Luckily, our weather has been perfect for outdoor leaf piles – but I’ll keep this in mind if it starts raining, or fails to warm up, after the frost, one of these days – I’m sure the kids would love it 🙂

LOL That pretty much sums up life in this house about 90% of the time! I’m always amazed at how many toys have flashing lights or make super-annoying sounds, and my girls would rather play with the cardboard box. 🙂

I know for a fact that My Hannah will love this. She recently cut & colored (itty bitty) flowers and put them in her Flower Girl basket (from a recent wedding she was in) and she happily skipped threw the house tossing them. So that is no doubt she will love this.

How much fun, we rarely get leaf piles to play in in autumn ’cause most of our trees are evergreen, so an indoor pile would be just the thing!
I have a love/hate relationship with them. Raking the real leaves can be a lot of work! But these are much more fun (and colorful) to play with. Have fun!!

I love it! We did this last week and it was so much fun. We also tore some brown packing paper into large pieces, and balled it up a bit, so that it makes a sound like crunching leaves when you walk/play in it. We set it up under a brown paper tree with cut out leaves that we had taped to the wall. It has been so much fun that we’ve left it up and played with it all week.

I don’t think my kids have a clue what falling leaves look like aside from on TV…….
I grew up with a large amount of leaves in my parents yard — so much work to rake them all, but so much fun to play in the pile when we were done! Must be nice to live in such a warm place all year round!

I can relate to that! There’s some type of mold I don’t tolerate very well, and it can make my allergies flare up too. Fortunately, the girls don’t seem to have any problems, but this is a great alternative, and LOTS of fun!!! Enjoy!!
